Travis Kirk Estes

October 20, 1994 — August 29, 2025

Travis Kirk Estes, 30, of Church Hill, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 29, 2025, leaving cherished memories with all who knew him.

Travis was born on October 20, 1994 in Kingsport, Tennessee, the beloved son of Carla Bowers and Kirk Estes. Travis grew up attending Browders Chapel and graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School. In 2003, he gave his heart to the Lord at Bible Camp at Lake Placid, a moment that shaped his faith throughout his life. He was the cherished grandson of Mamaw Koto Estes and Papaw Allen Estes, as well as Granny and Popp Fultz. He was also blessed with grandparents Janie McMurray, Hobert Bowers, and his wife, Linda. Above all, Travis was a devoted father. He adored his two daughters, Baylee and Oaklynn, and was proud to also help raise his bonus children, Keiden and Alaina "Laney." He shared his life and love with his girlfriend, Sierra, who brought him joy.

Travis had an infectious smile and a kind soul that touched countless lives. He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone without judgment. A gift from God to all who knew him, he lived with a generous heart, always ready to lend a hand. He enjoyed the outdoors-fishing, shooting basketball, and working hard with his hands. He never shied away from backbreaking labor, but his greatest gift was bringing laughter and light wherever he went. He was often the center of attention, not for himself, but because he made others feel seen, cared for, and happy.

Travis is survived by his girlfriend Sierra; his daughters, Baylee and Oaklynn; bonus children, Keiden and Alaina "Lainey"; parents, Carla Bowers and Kirk Estes; siblings: Kristy and her fiancé David; Zach and his wife Martika; Lindsay Estes; and Jake Estes. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

Heaven gained another angel on the day of his passing, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. As his family holds on to their faith, they find comfort in knowing that God calls His righteous ones home, and Travis is now at peace in His care.

He is laid to rest on this earth, but his presence and love remain eternal. This is not goodbye-it is "see you later."
