Wanda Annis Blevins, 71, of Kingsport, TN, answered God's call and went to her heavenly home peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2025 with her family by her side at home.
Wanda was born on October 25th, 1953 in Unicoi, Tennessee to the late Horace Maynard and Josephine Blevins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant sister.
Wanda is survived by her son, Kenneth (Chad) Cooper and daughter-in-law, Christie Cooper of the home; her grandchildren, Samantha Cooper of the home, Cara Cooper of Johnson City, TN, Brandon Arnett (Amanda) of Yuma, VA, Brittani Arnett of Gray, TN, and Bradley (MacKenzie) of Jonesborough, TN; her great-grandchildren, Bradley James, Emery, and Brantley Arnett, Kelly Blake, and Tatum Wren.
She is also survived by her brothers, Charles (Diane), Walter (Pat), and Spencer; her sister, Alice (Gurney) Miller; several nieces and nephews; and 2 special friends, Robin King and Angie Stout.
Wanda was a member of Kendrick Creek Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. Prior to her illness, she loved attending church and fellowshipping with her church family. Her hobbies were working puzzles and working in her flowers.
At Wanda's request, she will be cremated and the family will have a Celebration of Life service at Limestone Cove First United Methodist Church, located at 2375 TN-107, Unicoi, TN 37692, on Wednesday October 8th, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Ballad Cancer Center in Kingsport, Amedysis Hospice of Kingsport, Dr. Jason Colinger & staff, Knoxville Urology, Debbie Cox and John Ferguson for helping with her home care and transportation to Knoxville Urology.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
