Wayne Elliot Davidson Jr., 54, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Wayne was not only a supremely talented tattoo artist whose incredible work left a permanent mark of beauty on the world, but he was also a man whose warmth and generosity touched everyone he met. Always ready with a bright smile, a quick joke, and an open heart, he was the kind of person who would gladly give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar without a second thought. Above all his artistic achievements and the countless friends he made along the way, Wayne's greatest pride and deepest joy were his family and his kids, whom he loved unconditionally and fiercely. His laughter, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him and the art he leaves behind.
Those left to cherish Wayne's memory are his father, Wayne E. Davidson Sr.; his mothers, Rebecca Ann Willoughby and Christine Davidson; his children, Wayne E. Davidson III, Brandon Davidson, Katlyn Davidson, Taylor Davidson, Ireland Bailey, and Benjamin Davidson; his grandchildren, Wynter (Age 15), Mia (Age 13), Cienna (Age 12), Wayne E. Davidson IV (Age 9), Stormy (Age 9), Charlie (Age 8), Marleigh (Age 4), Ocean (Age 3), Finely (Age 3), Wrenley (Age 1), Blayze (Age 6 mos.), Kenneth (Age 3), James (Age 5), and Ezekiel (Age 13); his siblings 1. Brooke Jones (Mike), Steven Davidson (Tina), Hope Carroll (George), Jeff Davidson, Sean Davidson (Kathleen Ashley); his cousins, Renee and Jeff Hertog, Larry and Jodi Smiddle, William and Gayle Davidson, Melissa and Rico McGregor, James Smiddle, Riley and Rochelle Davidson, George and Beth Davidson, Tara and Ron Paul, Lisa Smiddle and Ryan Deetz, Billy Willoughby, Melissa Willoughby, Michael Willoughby, Glenda Willoughby, Mandy Willoughby, Harvey Willoughby III, Corey Hodgson; and his aunts and uncles, Bob and Donna Smiddle, William and Donna Davidson, George and Carol Davidson, Eddie Willoughby, Harvey Willoughby Jr., and Don and Shelly Finin.
