Wesley Carl Grubbs

Wesley Carl Grubbs, age 85, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Wesley was born in Davidson County, Tennessee, to the late Alonzo Richard Grubbs and Lola Teal Grubbs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Grubbs; sons, Clayton Grubbs and Wayne Grubbs; brothers, Richard Grubbs and Drury "Nat" Grubbs; and sister, Delores Hodge.

He is survived by his twin brother, Bill Grubbs; daughters, Tonya Lou Grubbs (Mike), Tara Richardson (Jimmy), and Tina Foran (Joe); his son, Russell Grubbs (Jeanie); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandson, Jesse Day, whom he raised as his own.

Wesley dedicated his career to pipefitting and was a proud, longtime member of United Association (UA) Local 538.

A private interment will be held in the family's section at Glenwood Cemetery.
